One proposal for ensuring there is no hard border on the island of Ireland is that technology might be used to track imports and exports with a minimum of bureaucracy and no infrastructure at the border itself. Imagine this could work, which of these options would you favour for Brexit? NI sticks with whatever Brexit arrangements are negotiated for the rest of the UK so there is a requirement for technology to solve the border problem/ Regardless of what the rest of the UK does, NI remains closely tied to the EU inside the single market and customs union, so there is a requirement for technology to solve the border issue.
