“You may have heard of genetically modified or ‘GM’ foods.
These are made from plants which have had their genes altered. Some people say that growing these plants may damage other plants and wildlife and that food made from them may not be safe to eat. Other people say that growing these plants may mean lower food prices and less use of pesticides and weedkillers.
Would you say that the growing of genetically modified foods should or should not be allowed in Britain?”
