Topic: Future of Britain - Food Policy

Food production is one of the areas where hitherto public policy has largely been set by the European Union. Now that the UK has left the EU, it will have to decide for itself the rules and regulations that apply to food and farming in Britain.

This is one of the topics covered by our project on the Future of Britain after the EU referendum: https://www.whatukthinks.org/eu/future-of-britain-project/

This section covers public attitudes towards what foods should be grown and sold in Britain, and how the government should support farmers, including data collected by the Future of Britain project.

If the UK could regain special access to the European market, would you or would you not be willing to accept the European rules on food safety and product safety?
