Full question: The Chancellor of the Exchequer, Phil Hammond has repeatedly warned against a “cliff-edge” Brexit and said that the UK must have as “frictionless” free trade deal with the EU as possible. The Foreign Secretary Boris Johnson has previously said Brussels can “go whistle” over its demands for a huge divorce bill and warned against continued payments for access to the Single Market.
