Full question wording

The UK is currently part of a customs union with the EU. A customs union is when a group of countries allow tariff-free trade between them without any customs checks, and they all agree to apply the same tariffs to goods from external countries. If the UK leaves the customs union when it leaves the EU, this could mean the UK no longer having to abide by EU regulations and being able to do free trade deals with countries outside the EU, but it could also mean a ‘hard border’ with customs checks between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Several solutions have been suggested to the issue of Brexit and the Irish border. Please rank the following from 1 to 4, where 1 means you think it is the best option and 4 means you think it is the worst option.
