Full question: In order to suspend Parliament, the government has to receive permission from the Queen, which is usually a formality. It is an established precedent to Suspend Parliament before a Queen’s Speech, albeit generally more briefly, and rarely, if ever, at such a constitutionally important moment – with Brexit just weeks away. Do you think it is fair or unfair of the government to place the Queen in this situation?
