Full question wording

Below are some statements. Please indicate whether the FIRST statement or the SECOND statement comes closer to your views, even if neither is exactly right. 'In a fast changing world, with big countries like China, India and Russia becoming more assertive, it is vital Britain can assert itself on the international stage. Being part of the EU helps us do that by combining our voice with other major European countries'. OR 'Britain is a great country. We should be standing on our own two feet, but instead we are tied down by EU red-tape and Brussels diktats. The only way to restore national sovereignty is to leave the EU'.
