Full question: Other EU countries have said they expect Britain to pay a financial settlement when we leave the EU to cover Britain’s share of some EU costs from our time as a member, such as pensions for EU staff and Britain’s share of spending plans agreed before we leave. In principle, do you think it is or is not reasonable for the other EU countries to ask Britain to make payments for these costs?
